The 1977 Rams were led by All-Staters Mark Dismuke, Joe Moton, and a defense that registered 5 shut-outs and allowed an average of 5.7 points a game. The regular season ended with an undefeated Conference Championship before a loss to LaSalle-Pem in the state play-offs.
