Chris Reynolds

Chris Reynolds had a basketball career that was to dream about. Coming out of Peoria High in I989 this point guard was already a two-time all-stater, a Parade All-American and a three-time all-conference veteran.

Chris had led his Lions to a 24-1 regular season and a #1 state ranking in 1988 before being chosen to attend the Nike Camp during the summer. During his senior year, he captained the Lions through a 25-0 regular season before losing the state title game to East St. Louis 59-57 in triple overtime to end a 32-I campaign. He was a unanimous all-tourney choice.

Playing his college ball at Indiana University, Chris appeared in 129 games during his four years for the Hoosiers. His .657 career field goal average led the team and was 3rd highest in school history. His leadership and passing helped Indiana to two Big Ten titles and a 1992 NCAA Final Four appearance. He was
chosen as team captain his senior year.

"A leader who refused to lose," was coach Chuck Buescher's way to describe Reynolds. Coach Bob Knight said, "Chris knows how to win."

Today, Chris has a law degree and is an assistant athletic director at Indiana University.
