Mitchell Anderson

Mitchell Anderson is one of the brightest names in Bradley's long and storied basketball history. The former Chicago prep standout, playing in the 1978-82 era, scored 2,341 points in his four seasons and is the only Bradley University player to win or share team MVP honors all four years.

He played in both the NCAA and NIT tournaments and was the most valuable player of the 1982 NIT when Bradley won its fourth title.

Anderson was named Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year in 1979 and was a first team MVC choice three times. He is only one of two players to lead Bradley in scoring four consecutive years and one of seven players to lead the team in rebounding three straight years. At the time of his induction he was third on the all-time Bradley University rebounding list with 947 and steals with 184 and second in all-time blocked shots with 108.

He was drafted 36th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA draft and also played for the Utah Jazz. He then spent 10 years playing professional basketball in Europe.
